The host just doesn’t work for me. I tend to skip his intro where he says space unicorns a million times and I also skip the interviews cuz they’re just not very interesting.
The stories themselves are pretty good although some really aren’t suited for audio format.
Wonderful story telling
Unforgettable stories found here from thoughtful, incisive curators of the best in speculative fiction.
I tried the first 10 episodes, and none of the stories really impressed me. Most of the stories are about relationships, not ideas, and several episodes seemed to be about processing relationship trauma. This an interesting subgenre of speculative fiction but is not fun for me. I ended up unsubscribing.
Hopeful, beautiful, and curated with love - fine fiction and poetry piped straight into your space unicorn space helmet.
