  • His cases are interesting and important. His manner, though, is cringey, often painful to listen to. I wish I could say otherwise. I'd listen more often.

  • Don’t understand some of the subjects

I am a big fan of the podcast, but sometimes I have a hard time hearing some of the stories. I’m listening to the Layla Santanello episode. The family, especially her mother, is a nightmare. Numerous “boyfriends”, addiction, etc. What a mess. I had to turn it off.

  • Mired in minutiae with sooo many questions… questions…And still more questions!

I appreciate anyone trying to help these families. Don’t get me wrong. However, the host of this podcast seems to go into each interview with a very long, long list of less than scintillating questions about the victim. All of the interviews are recorded phone calls which means the quality is variable. But the interview questions! Super tedious. For example : “So she was the second to the oldest child?…Huh! Interesting! And you mentioned she right -handed? Oh! Left-handed? Great…Okay moving on l... more

  • Egocentric

Somewhere B. Russell is turning in his grave, wishing he could school the host on causation and correlation. While my man smooth Ed Lorenz wants to have a clinic with his namesake on how exactly chaos theory can apply as Ed analyzes disappearances and if he is the reason they were solved.
