  • Time for Jonathan to take a stand

For a while I thought it was important that Jonathan be there to provide pushback against Yonit’s raging Hasbara but after Amit Segal’s attack on Haaretz - an outlet he (Freedland) vocally supports including several appearances at Haaretz conferences, it is time for him to take a principled stand and walk away from this podcast (which is produced by N12 - Yonit and Amit’s employer) Otherwise he does not have half the integrity he claims to have.

  • Can’t take it any longer. What a waste of potential

I just can’t take it anymore. No reason to agree with everyone but Jonathan’s detachment from reality is just too much to take. Yonit- you are lovely. Just stay away!

Calling Marwan Barghouti being in “detention” or framing the issue with Aston banning Maccabee fans as “not antisemitic“. Reminds me of those Jewish useful idiots voting for Mamdani

  • Jonathan, just admit you were wrong

I didn’t vote for trump but you can’t pretend he hasn’t been good for Israel. Soooo much better than Harris would have been. Also, no this wasn’t the same deal we had on the table in April or any other time (all the hostages in one day? Hamas disarming? These things were never on the table before now). Lastly, stop pretending that Bibi was the biggest obstacle to the deal. IT WAS HAMAS. Kushner and Witkoff negotiated directly with them, and the US put more pressure on the Arab world to deliver t... more

  • Slanted

Freedland drinks the leftist koolaid, anything but Trump anything but Bibi, the rest is commentary, he even makes Yonit appear right of center at times, no small feat. Worth a listen but if this is you’re main source of commentary on Israel, you won’t understand what’s going on

Army and politicians at war - and Inside Trump’s mind with Barak Ravid
Q: If you had to bet your all the money in your pockets on when there will be a normalization between Saudi Arabia and Israel, is it just perhaps waiting for a new Israeli government and some sort of wording of course about the Palestinian state or is it something else?
I personally see zero chance of that with the current Israeli government, but I wish I'll be wrong.
Army and politicians at war - and Inside Trump’s mind with Barak Ravid
Q: Even the decision, the UN resolution is quite murky on the details. Do we know how this is going to happen? Are we optimistic about this? Should we be?
The order of business was first passed this resolution in the UN that authorizes the International Stabilization Force to operate in Gaza and empowers this so-called Board of Peace to be in charge of the administration of the Gaza Strip.

Q: Does your read of his involvement in, his interest in Gaza as an issue now, does he consider it, given all the ceremonials and his greeting at the Knesset and Sharm al-Sheikh, does he consider it now basically job done?
Phase one is definitely done. The war, in Donald Trump's mind, is over. He does not think that it's going to resume anytime soon.
