  • Learn about Your Animal Neighbors

I love this podcast as I'm a city dweller and am always trying to learn more about the animals, birds, and other creatures that make cities their homes.I find the well educated enthusiam of the creators and their guests so contagious that I'm often looking up species I'm not familialr with online during the show. I also really enjoy the heavy metal intro music just because I'm a metalhead/nature nerd too.

They are definitely a source population, with a positive growth rate and high reproductive success, often spreading into surrounding areas.

Q: How did you get into the urban coyote business?
I was fresh off of my PhD at the University of Missouri and got a job as a research biologist at the Max McGraw Wildlife Foundation, leading to urban wildlife studies focusing on coyotes.
