4.3 out of 5 stars from 1.1k ratings
  • Very good but what’s happened to the editing?

I listen to the podcast rather than the live show and find it a useful way to start my day. The presenters are very good and don’t allow the contributors to get away with jargon which I like. This would have been 5 stars but recently the editing has been pretty awful, take the job away from the work experience person please

  • Presenters with no business or economics understanding

I used to listen to this show but increasingly, I can’t stand listening to presenters who have no clue what they are talking about. Often pronounce names and topics incorrectly because they never heard the name or term before. Worst presenter I’ve ever listened to is Felicity Hannah. How she works on this show is beyond me. She blabs on about her kids and personal topics 90% of the time to fill in the gaps in topics she has no understanding of. Don’t waste your time. Many other, better podcasts ... more

  • Excellent on Friday

Felicity Hannah does a supurb job hosting on Fridays. Alas, on Monday through Thursday Will Bain starts well but degrades to talking over his experts and guests. This has grown so annoying that I only listen on Friday. Monocle's Globalist podcast is a wonderfully moderated on presented podcast thast is now my Monday through Thursday choice.

Not in the short term; this is more of a long-term play.
Musk's "innovation engine"

The IPO of SpaceX and the combination of these two businesses will not necessarily mean he does not have the bandwidth for Tesla, but if there is succession planning, it could impact market sentiment toward Tesla.

The broader trend is for inflation to fall, which should be good news for the Bank of England.
A smooth finish?
Q: Was there anything in the inflation figures that surprised you?
There were troublesome parts, especially with wage inflation showing unexpected stickiness.
A smooth finish?
