  • More like one guy can do better

I gave this show a shot do to the title and John being a therapist. First of all, it seems like the show is Shaun’s own playground to work out his issues through poor John who’s constantly being re directed with “new” directives on how to behave. John has stated he doesn’t believe in shoulds but most of Shaun’s feedback is shoulds. They both take the time to brag about their privileged life. John recently lost his home in a fire which is tragic but hasn’t stopped talking about the privileged opp... more

  • Honest and deep with a hint of tension

I really enjoy this podcast as the conversations are honest, thoughtful, and often go deeper than most. I appreciate the vulnerability and how both hosts challenge each other. Lately, however, it feels like Shaun isn’t very happy doing the show. His critiques of John can come off as nitpicky or even as little digs, and less like the kind of support you’d expect between two friends. Still, there’s a lot of value in what they’re creating, and I hope they can realign and keep growing together.

  • Noooo! Don’t go!!

So sad it’s almost over. It’s my favorite podcast for my walks, which go by SO fast when I’m listening to you guys. It also made me realize how fleeting things are and how many times I passed the podcast up when it first started, thinking I had time to listen eventually. Now I’m locked in and it’s almost over. I need a moment. :’( love you guys and your super fun AND informative talks. I’ll miss you. Much love from Cali🌸💕🌊
