This podcast is very special to me. I love the characters. I love the evangelion-meets-night vale weirdness. I love the humor. It’s just so unique. If you want a silly yet surprisingly gut punching character driven scifi/paranormal mystery, this is for you!
Also, since it’s a mystery, I feel that ending it with season 3 is a good call and I can’t wait to see how it all wraps up!
Brilliant! Not since Midnight Burger have I been instantly drawn in to a podcast! The voice acting is perfect, the plot line is engaging which makes this podcast binge worthy! Great job everyone!
I genuinely cannot recommend this podcast enough. This show is weird! And silly! But also deeply insightful. I have laughed and sobbed because of this show. It makes me want to cherish all my friends and the joy in my life even more.
The sound production and writing is fantastic, the entire cast and crew is fantastic. Give it this show a listen, you won’t regret it. You might regret it if you don’t.
This podcast should be up there with any fiction podcast. If the world were a better place this would be far more widespread. It has a ton of character with a great balance of whimsy and earnestness. The mystery and world building are captivating. The voice acting and production are very solid. I wish I had discovered it sooner and my patreon dollars could have gone further. I hope the people who have worked on this stay in the world of podcasting and get some sort of deserved big break to keep... more
There is some obvious passion behind this, but it never finds its feet. The dual narrators is fine, but the characters are flat and unappealing, possibly (deliberately) overdramatised pastiches of American teenagers in a murder mystery.
The sound design and mix is muddy (so many overlapping tracks that obscure the story).
I kept listening, hoping that it would elevate from “fine” to “good,” but it didn’t get there for me.
