(Season Three) New York City may be the most overwhelming city on Earth, but it's also quite arguably a much friendlier place since the tragic event of 9/11 over eighteen years ago. Walking around Manhattan, you're almost certain to see 'that guy fro... more
(Season Three) Hong Kong is a true feast for the senses. Uniquely blending centuries of Asian culture with more recent British influence, the adventure starts as soon as you land at the airport. Brave drunk taxi rides, soaring cable car rides and cha... more

This is possibly one of the whitest-privledged, insensitive perspective travel synopsis I’ve ever been annoyed to listen to. I downloaded the Cairo episode as I’m traveling soon. Perhaps it’s this episode but I won’t be listening to anymore. Every stereotype about being an American traveler is reinforced by this. No depth, and like listening to a fraternity/sorority college student describing encountering the world around them.
I just love Scot and Emily's stories and banter, as an avid traveler I am always looking for insider secrets, so this is perfect!
Great podcast. Useful information. Fun and Engaging Hosts.
With so many travel podcasts focusing on the global nomad lifestyle and location independence, it's nice to have a podcast that respresents those of us who are base camp travelers. Focusing on the destinations is exciting to listen to and will most certainly make my places to go to list grow.
It always seems so difficult to save for an adventure and impossible to afford to see the places you want, but Scott and Emily give great advice on how to see it all without breaking the bank. Great pod casts!
