  • Tony for wired to hunt.

Kenyon is getting very hard to listen to. Nobody cares about the “names” of bucks or any of that stuff. Just tell your story. Some people are hunters and some are killers. I think we all know who is who on this podcast.

  • Old rut fresh was better

I love parts of the new refresh. I do not like that. He focuses so much sometimes on one state. Like three hunters from Wisconsin and one episode is too much. I like the old way where they would pick people from five different states a week and give updates on all those different states. I don’t feel like we’re getting a variety of states like we have in the past

  • Sad to watch the show devolve

I used to love this podcast, but watching Mark’s evolution into a little green decoy is a massive bummer.

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ep. 987: 20 Late Season Questions With Bill Winke
Q: How does your scouting differ during the late season compared to early season or rut?
Long-range scouting with binoculars is useful, and you could use trail cameras to confirm deer movement without educating them.
Ep. 987: 20 Late Season Questions With Bill Winke
Q: What is the Bill Winke way for late season whitetail success?
It's pretty easy, really. You got to have food, cold weather, and deer that aren't heavily pressured.
Ep. 978: Post Rutcation Therapy Session with Tony Peterson and Dan Johnson
Q: What is one thing you're really glad you did do?
Using the dough decoy as part of the strategy has changed everything for me.
Ep. 978: Post Rutcation Therapy Session with Tony Peterson and Dan Johnson
Q: What is one thing you wished you did differently?
I wish I would have adapted earlier instead of just trying to make something work that wasn't working.
Ep. 974: Rut Fresh Radio - Whitetail Lockdown Week: Hunt Smarter or Sit Longer?
Q: What about the guys who feel out of the game? What do you say to them?
If you're feeling it's a grind, take a day off, sleep in and go out at 9 a.m., or enjoy hunting the experience. Don't rush it.
