A podcast where I speak with people about their career path. Focusing on their decisions, success, advice, key traits, career moves, mentoring and listening to interesting stories. This podcast is an interesting perspective on how careers can take a linear path to success, but all often career paths take a zig-zag path. Fun Stuff to learn about. Enjoy!

The interview with Rick turned into an exercise in mansplainng. Every reference to women was about him solving the problem or overcoming their deficiency. His wife was competent because she was able to call the plumber. He was responsible for his daughters career choices and used his connections at KPMG to get her a job. The large firm consultant was incapable of understanding her own problems so once again he can save the day and explain it to the little lady after observing the shop floor for ... more
Full of great points and ideas to keep in mind when thinking about how you approach your career. Unlike Bloomberg’s Masters in Business or motivational/entrepreneurship type of podcasts, WIK has stories from the guest/host that are much more relatable, practical and vetted through their own experiences. A lot what is discussed is also not confined to the corporate/consulting world but transfers well into all types of settings and career paths. Really good episodes on a consistent schedule!
Gary’s podcast has been incredibly insightful and inspiring. The podcast offers advice through story-sharing that can be used in both your professional and personal life. My favourite episode so far has been an interview with Sana Afzal. Some gold nuggets of wisdom about the importance of empathy, honesty, appreciation and being content. Thanks so much Gary!
Great podcast to help navigate your career.
