大四學生美穎，成長過程陪伴了憂鬱症母親到照顧肝硬化的父親，看到《兒少照顧者：為了這個家，我殺了我自己》這本書後，他才發現，原來自己就屬於那群「年輕照顧者」。
他的日子繞著醫院轉，為了照顧影響學業、為了家裡的突發狀況放棄行程。
在覺察原來自己是照顧者後，有專業人員的介入，協助申請長照服務、連結「雇主安心守護計畫」，他才發現，照顧不需要一個人孤軍奮戰。
