在很多人的印象里，阿拉伯世界要么是石油、摩天楼，要么是遥远而抽象的战乱中东。事实上，身处其中的阿曼恰恰相反，它安静、克制，保持本真，是我见过最容易推开阿拉伯世界大门的地方。我们设计这条行程，并不是为了“打卡”，而是希望带你理解：一个阿拉伯国家，如何在沙漠、海洋与绿洲之间... more
本期是“中东”系列的第3期。目的地是阿曼，我们离开“空白之地”沙漠，沿着塞拉莱、苏尔、尼兹瓦和马斯喀特的顺序走，看看沙漠、海洋与信仰是如何塑造一个国家的。在这趟旅途中，我们去了解乳香、香薰文化和唐朝即到达中国的大食（阿拉伯）商人；也会去造船厂看看阿拉伯式的缝合船与纵向帆，是如何影响到欧洲人的大航海；再进入内陆的尼兹瓦去了解falaj水利系统如何运作，也会和普通的阿曼人聊聊他的日常，再进入机关重重的阿拉伯城堡和马斯喀特的国家博物馆……

本期是“中东”系列的第2期。目的地是阿曼的“空白之地”，这里是世界上最大的流动沙漠，我们追随着“最后一位古典探险家”威尔弗雷德·塞西杰的脚步，来到了这里，贝都因人的传统游牧是怎样的形式？他们如何寻找水源？又如何与骆驼相处？部落结构塑造了他们什么样的风格？随后，我们再北上，来到约旦，先去一个贝都因人都“拆迁村”看看，然后再去瓦迪拉姆了解下当代贝都因人“传统与现代”混合的生活模式，我们在沙漠里徒步，与他们交谈，也在这里碰到了罕见的沙漠暴雨。

老楊本身是有思考有底蘊的主播，有時候在幾期串台節目和其他友台的主播對話的時候更是突出這一點。比如有一次和「西夏酒館」的一個叫伊夏的主播串台（Vol 46｜讀書｜…）那一位來自「同一個中國」浙江的伊夏在那次節目中曾稱我們廣東人是一個連福建人都吃的「種族」……真的令人很無語，她可是一個號稱自己讀了500本以上的書的「文化人」呢……後來老楊不知道怎麼樣就把場子給圓了。那次之後我更喜歡老楊了，正所謂沒有對比就沒有傷害，沒有對比，也不知道哪一家電台更好。
