Enjoy listening to random, cool stories from each episode. The conversation being unfiltered def keeps it real & fun. You guys make anesthesia & ER lifestyle exciting.
As a clinical pharmacist, I wanted to check these guys out for a broader perspective on the anesthesia view of medication therapy. Unfortunately, the first episode I listened to was “Off Label Uses” which was basically a hour long bash involving multiple arrogant and condescending hosts bragging and trading stories about their disrespect for the practice of pharmacy. Heaven forbid someone question the high and mighty anesthesiologist when they order something against hospital protocol or manufac... more
I find this podcast tough to listen to. These ‘wise guys’ sound more like immature frat boys. Irritating to listen to them be so condescending towards other specialties in medicine. They have little to no respect for Pharmacists, Nurses, ect... It’s a condescending sophomoric podcast; there are better ones out there...keep looking.
4th yr med student here about to apply for anesthesia residency. Love your show, content really helpful on rotations. Wish sound quality was a little better sometimes. Voices are quieter than other podcasts, possibly due to acoustics in the recording room.
As a med student finding myself very curious about anesthesiology, discovering your podcast is a Godsend.
My only issue is that I can barely hear y’all. I want to hear everything of what y’all have to say. Maybe get new mics or just speak louder?
On the other hand, maybe this is your genius way of training me and all the other aspiring anesthesiologists to have that eagle-eye ear required to hear all the sounds of the OR :) ...
Thanks for all you do!
