  • Relatable AF

I love all the episodes! As a first time mum, they’re so relatable, funny, and just such easy listening. Also Tayla’s recollection of the what goes on in her adhd mind for the day also hit home so hard. It felt like she was reading my brain. That takes a lot of courage to share so kudos to her!

  • Great pod but snobby vibes at times

I love listening to this podcast every week, Tayla and Lana are funny and have a great dynamic, but Tayla saying that other kids at childcare look like they have rabies is not it (I mean, am I just being sensitive?). Kids get sick, so will yours. Your child is not superior to anyone else’s. I respect people’s decisions around sending their little ones to daycare or not , but if avoiding illness is the reason you’re holding off on it you are not stopping your kids getting sick, you are just delay... more

However I LOVE that Baby Talk feels like a relaxed, convo with my besties, whilst also empowering me with tips, tricks, and some guidance. Every episode makes me feel seen and heard. Q: Can you walk us through what vaginismus is? Because I don't have any idea.
Yeah, I hadn't heard of it either before I got diagnosed with it. But apparently it's like a disorder that happens through trauma, your brain causes your vaginal muscles to tighten.

Q: Can you walk us through that? Or is it the same? You just didn't really realize it at the time?
I honestly, it just sounds so bizarre. I didn't care. I was a bit stressed, but something really weird, the whole labor, I couldn't lock in to what I was doing.
