… there is not a single episode where the team doesn’t point out how much they want to read less from white peoples and repeat their problem with “cultural appropriation”. It’s rather distracting and makes it hard to remember what they actually talk about once they DO talk about the book. Shame, would’ve had great potential.
A bunch of whining lefty extremists systematically hate on every book genre, leaving the listener wondering what books and genres they DO like. Why do these people work in libraries? Also, very poor research is done on each genre. Not a well-prepared show.
