舞台上的小丑，插科打諢，這丑與醜之間其實亦有相通之意。俞振飛先生在看完林繼凡的丑角演出後，曾經把他拉到身邊稱讚到他：比小生還美，形容他的演出風格是”丑中見美的格調”。
