If any of the following makes you uncomfortable, be warned: blood, sex, Christopher Walken, philosophy, and more. But actually, this vampire film is rather serious and may challenge your sensibilities. We welcome Frank Olson back to help us take a bi... more
You're caught in our web with this one! There's no other way to spin it. Spiders fall from space, get really big, and eat people. We're celebrating the movie's 50th anniversary and you should too! And who better to do it with than the director and pr... more
Ain't no monster like a triphibian monster. Baby Gappa is stolen from its island home, so mama and papa must destroy Japan to save the tyke. Kaiju films boomed in the 60s, but GAPPA is all-but-forgotten today, despite memorable effects. Oh. But wait.... more

Vincent and Matt have a way of appreciating the movies they cover, even when pointing out the flaws, that underscores a perspective of appreciation and genuine curiosity. It’s like chatting with friends who just really love films, whether they’re dissecting a campy B-movie or diving into a cinematic masterpiece. The variety keeps things fresh, and the hosts’ enthusiasm makes it easy to tune in to new episodes. If you're into movies and want a podcast that balances appreciation with honest discus... more
These two podcasters need a little education about Political Systems...as in Nazism, Fascism and Authoritarianism systems of government. And they might look at the fact Clinton liberals were leading government when this film was made....not a Conservative government. They also need to research Athens, TN in August of 1947 as to why veterans would take government from those too corrupt or incompetent. In all I guess the podcasters are a product of a poor education system in the areas of history.
You can tell the hosts truly love monster movies — the passion comes through! The variety of movies covered is impressive, as is the research put into each episode. I haven’t seen many of the movie titles they discuss, but feel like I’ve watched the abridged version after each episode. 5/5. Would Recommend.
Been a long time listener and am consistently charmed by Vincent and Matt. They run the gambit of the monster movie pantheon from Godzilla to the Thing. I’ve definitely made movie night choices based on their recs!
Love whenever they bring in guest hosts. Keep em coming!
