For years liking movie scores was seen as very uncool especially when your young but as the years have gone by I have discovered so many fellow mates and others out there love them too. Erik Woods and his team are my kind of fans and listening to this podcast just cements why I love film music so much. It’s like sitting in a room and being part of their conversation. Keep up the good work
Erik Woods and the whole team behind the content on this superb long running podcast is extensive in its back catalogue. Prolific in its output and relentless in getting both popular contemporary subjects covered but also exploring vintage music and characters behind them. Simply unmissable. Subscribe and you won’t be disappointed. Why it’s taken me years before adding a review is unforgivable.
This review is for Talking Soundtracks, specifically the Steve C. Smith interview episodes.
Amazing production value with particularly good editing. The interview was super interesting and sounded great. The hosts voice is so hypnotic I could listen to him all day.
This is a great project and you should definitely give it a listen. Really big variety is a definite plus.
Fantastic podcast. Great selections and I really appreciate how brutally honest Erik is with his take on some of his less favorite soundtracks.
