  • One of my favorite podcasts of all time. I've been a fan of movie soundtracks for over 40 years and David W. Collins' breakdown of all these classic scores is pure genius. So much fantastic information even for non-musicians. If you like any of the movies David has covered, then this is must-listen material.

  • Breath of fresh air

I was so happy to see the Soundtrack Show return with The Two Towers music. These episodes are so thorough and well-written. You can tell the amount of work and love that the host puts into each episode. I love learning about this music, the composers, the origins and thought process behind this genre. I don’t care how long I have to wait between each series. It’s a breath of fresh air. And I hope it continues. Thank you for all that you do!

My only gripes are how sporadically episodes come out (this recent string of Two Towers content has been an absolute treat), and that he can spend a little too long giving context/movie trivia. I really wouldn’t mind if whole ep... more
