Rob Ward | A Top Venture Capitalist Analyzes the AI Landscape | Co-founder GP | Meritech Capital
Q: How do you look at that as both an investor and an industry observer?
Valuations are rising tremendously but with a lack of oversight and the potential for circular investing; it's challenging to assess the market accurately.

Q: So first question, Rob, where are we really in AI adoption?
We are still early in AI adoption, with rapid developments in certain areas like legal AI and AI for coding, but widespread enterprise adoption remains a challenge.
Alex Schultz | CMO at Meta | Marketing at Meta - The View From the Eye of the Storm"
Q: How should people out there be thinking about the future of marketing in the era of AI?
Expect AI to be a threshold technology—only use it when it outperforms humans in terms of creativity and effectiveness, and ensure a human is always reviewing its outputs.
Alex Schultz | CMO at Meta | Marketing at Meta - The View From the Eye of the Storm"
Q: What's it like to do marketing in a business that is always in the center of just about every piece of news in the world?
It's very stressful, and people have strong opinions about Meta. I believe very deeply in what we're doing, which enables me to handle the stress and manage my team emotionally.
