Holly really needs to take a grammar course, because hers is atrocious.

    Holly –

It's not: "he *drugged* her down the beach to the water."

Nor is it: "She was really *drugged* down by all the abuse".

The word yo're looking for is *dragged*.

However, if someone gave a person a bunch of drugs, then they were "drugged".

It's also not: "they had *went* on a date."

It's either, "they went on a date" or "they had *gone* on a date."

I cringe every time I hear your brutal grammar.

Thank you, Holly, for also turning me onto “A Simpler Time” - thank you for taking care of your listeners even while on break! I’m a for... more
