The narrator's political bias throughout the the series was shown slightly but Episode 20 it really shown.
It would have been 5 stars after episode 19
Great way to start your podcast friend. Not.
Grow up kid. A serious podcaster would deliver the facts without prefacing personal political opinions of how 2020 dramas can be morphed into Ancient Roman politics. You’ll have a select group that agrees with you, and are just as boorish.
Not for passionate history people.
I want to know what Caesar wore, drank ate and how and where he fought and loved. Not what you think about or hear your vague impression, and basic Wiki knowledge of the ancients.

... this is the podcast for you! I knew only the basics of republican Roman history, but this podcast was do informative and fun I have bought several books on the topic since it ended! The post-series episodes have also been a blast and have taught me so much about the gender roles and important women of the late Roman Republic!
I found this podcast very late in the series, but quickly became a fan. It is entertaining and educational... Come for the facts, stay for the fun. The post-series add more depth to the women who were intertwined in these events. Thanks for bringing us along in your enthusiastic telling of this period of history.
