I love this host. Thinks deeply, humble, kind, generous. In one of the episodes he says he’s he’s like a lesbian from the 90’s. As a lesbian from the 90’s, I agree.
this has become one of my go-to literary podcasts! always interesting new authors and a chill, lowkey vibe, no pretensions. i get the feeling adam’s discovering new things along with the listener, like it’s an organic conversation, not overly rehearsed or static
I do really like this podcast and learning about new books, but there are a couple of issues with editing (sometimes the host stops talking and restarts something when he gets it wrong, rather than this being edited out) and also some carelessness with mistakes (spelling the name wrong of authors and places in episode descriptions) that makes it feel a bit amateur?
