Pinball and video games. We're a mixed gaming podcast, but pinball and video games are our bread and butter, and our two permanent segments. Pinball generally receives the most attention of the two. We also, on occasion, cover other types of gaming (namely tabletop games such as RPGs and card games). We aren't known as eclectic for nothing!

As far as pinball podcasts go, it’s really hard to beat the mix of the knowledgeable cynic Dennis teamed up with the light hearted pessimist Tony. Having a good basic recap of the video game industry is just a bonus.
For how great the show is and how smart Dennis is, the mic quality on his mic is the only thing that holds the show back at all! Sometimes it sounds like it’s got the slightest reverb and it is rough with headphones.
By far my favorite podcast
I’ve been listening to every episode starting from the beginning. Even years later, the old episodes are informative and entertaining.
I like hearing Dennis and Tony talk about all of the boutiques and start-ups that have tried (and mostly failed) to make pinball machines. They take the time to research each topic and Dennis is good at giving a very listenable synopsis of all of the legal documents involved in the crazy antics of these companies.
It’s fun to hear their first impressions of e... more
Most of the episode time seems devoted to pinball (varies of course, but maybe 70% on average? A lot). A solid focus on key pinball news and more conceptual discussions. Dives into the more serious/concerning pinball hobby aspects (including breaking down legal happenings on failed projects and challenges faced by manufacturers). Video games is some news, but more discussion of whatever games the hosts are currently playing. Very consistent release schedule.
