  • Too General for me

While I appreciate the marriage advice and intent. The last conversation was too general for me. What specific issues did you work through and how did you do it. That is more helpful than discussing acronyms that the non-medical community didn’t study in grad school. I don’t mean to sound harsh. This conversation just didn’t help me.

  • Modern practical advice

The Freemans are the best relationship experts. The podcast is an easy listen and it’s helpful to have a pen handy to jot down their practical advice as there’s always at least one thing you can implement. The way they describe different scenarios and behaviors is so relatable, I often find myself nodding in agreement as I listen. I also recommend their book The Argument Hangover to enhance communication skills and help improve how you move through a disagreement with your partner. Love them!

  • Very interesting

It’s a great podcast, just sometimes seems too biased about what the woman wants and needs, and very little about what the man feels and wants. It’s always like “ the man should do this and this” but almost never the other way around, equality in marriage is important too
