So why did he risk it all to go into the wilderness alone? And how do you search for someone who doesn't want to be found? In 2022, host Erin Parke became obsessed with the saga of Robert Bogucki, which became a m... more

Forty years ago this January, the Space Shuttle Challenger disintegrated on its way into orbit. All seven astronauts on board were killed.

It's the trial everyone in Darwin is talking about. In February 2022, a helicopter on a crocodile egg collection mission crashed in remote Arnhem Land, killing the egg collector and paralysing the pilot.

I love ABC reporting and podcasts. They strike the perfect balance between presenting a compelling story without sensationalising things. The stories are well researched and reported in a balanced way, so you really feel like you’re getting a balanced, and unbiased version of events. This story was so interesting, and an incredible insight into a part of the world many people (and most Australians!) will never travel to. Highly recommend wrapping your ears around this one.
A great podcast, and a fascinating story reported and told really well. It’s compelling, insightful and will make you think about the desert differently.
Loved listening to the unpacking of the story, and the looping back to traditional owners with respect.
As a non-Aussie, I’m always shocked by the ABC’s ability to blame the “white man” for all. It’s pervasive throughout all their (taxpayer funded) programming.
Loved nowhere man! Such a beautifully told story with some great themes. I also really loved how the importance Aboriginal culture and protocols were highlighted.
