  • Oh my gosh

Kelly and Maher just wasted 40+ minutes then I’ll never get back. It was a train wreck. Kelly’s vocabulary is “like” and “umm”…. CBS puts this to shame. You guys should listen to it and get some pointers.

  • Best fantasy baseball show I’ve found

The welsh and Joey P are the best. Good structure, good banter, and they know ball.

  • Just say no to Joe…

Everything (and I mean Everything!!) else I love about this podcast feed is in place, but Pisapia (forgive the possible misspell) is the podcast version of Fallon — loving his own non-funny jokes/impressions — and similarly as a host, not getting out of the way of the others (guests and co-hosts alike) — verbally interrupting to take an insecure precedence over whomever he’s talking to, regardless of obvious knowledge superiority.

I d/l everything on this feed except for the “Leading Off” segmen... more

  • Kyzatrex

Love the show and everything but enough with this Kyzatrex already!!! Do you guys think someone is really going to buy that stuff??? And the best part is the 47 side effects that you read off for it!!! I would be embarrassed to read that to people and actually be even half serious about it

  • Leading Off 🙌🏼 / The Cycle 👎🏼

Leading Off is my favorite baseball podcast hands down. I look forward to it everyday. The analysis is solid, but the humor and actual knowledge of the game of baseball in general is what sets it apart. I’d give Leading Off 6 starts.

The reason for the 3 starts review is because of The Cycle. Ryan Warmly is great, but Mayer comes across as an arrogant know-it-all. I feel like he rarely tees up Ryan or converses on Ryan’s topics. It seems like he waiting to speak his piece rather than li... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Leading Off September 19th, 2025 (Ep. 1135)
Q: Should I stream Cantio at Minnesota or Tyone at Cincinnati?
I would recommend going with Cantio for the safer option due to the matchups.
Leading Off September 19th, 2025 (Ep. 1135)
Q: What should we expect from Matt Shaw from a dynasty perspective?
Matt Shaw has shown promise with his performance this year, demonstrating periods of productivity, making him a potential buy low going forward.
Leading Off September 22nd, 2025 with Chris Towers (Ep. 1136)
Q: Is Logan Gilbert the obvious fourth pitcher for next year?
There are five to seven names that could viably be the fourth pitcher off the board, but I am leaning Chris Sale due to his past performance despite injuries.
Leading Off September 22nd, 2025 with Chris Towers (Ep. 1136)
Q: What have you been making of the recent playoff races?
There has been a lot of movement that I didn't really expect to see here over the final week, the Mets seem unlikely to make the playoffs looking at their current situation.
Leading Off: September 15th, 2025 with Ryan Bloomfield (Ep. 1133)
Q: What do you think of Fernando Tatis's season this year?
While not a disaster for a first-round pick, Tatis is seen as having underperformed against expectations, but he still holds value for next year's draft.
