  • Unfortunate

Nick's litany of inside references is entertaining and he is knowledgeable, but the constant use of metaphor gets tired pretty quickly. However, the rest of the crew is very good.

A key problem is a tendency to cling to priors far longer than is practical in other than the very deepest formats. Most disappointing is the insistence on embracing and promoting controversial social issues. Sticking to baseball would serve better.

  • Good analysis but…

I could do without the disparaging remarks about Christian baseball players because of their beliefs. Unfortunately most of the time when Nick refers to a player as “not a good person” it’s because they are Christian and have publicly declared their faith. Hope to hear less hate from Nick in the future.

CFT - 68 Starting Pitching Free Agency Preview
Q: How do you feel about this signing of Dylan Cease to the Jays?
Eno Sarris believes it's a good signing but notes that comparing Cease to pitchers like Max Scherzer isn't fair, as the contract's value is more related to his innings pitched and not just his strikeout capabilities.
OTC 556 - Mock Draft Review (Nick's Version)
Q: How do you feel about your mock draft position?
I prefer a spot closer to the top, like fifth where I could secure more high-value players early on.
OTC 556 - Mock Draft Review (Nick's Version)
Q: What was your general philosophy going into the draft?
I was focused on getting solid hitters early, specifically opting to wait on pitching until later rounds.
OTC 555 - Ranking Debates - LIVE From First Pitch Arizona
Q: How do you assess George Kirby's fastball performance?
Kirby has struggled with fastball command but shows great swing-and-miss capability with his secondary pitches, suggesting he can still be an effective starter.
OTC 555 - Ranking Debates - LIVE From First Pitch Arizona
Q: What do you think about Kyle Bradish?
Kyle Bradish shows great potential with his ability to go deep into games and his strikeout potential, making him a solid top 20 pitcher.
