Great show to remind people that there doesn’t need to be something new to cause more pain. The automation can amplify and accelerate crime.
Similar to the ACAMS webinars, they use a lot of words while basically offering no actual information. Final straw was the most recent episode on right wing extremism. I came here to learn more about money laundering, not to listen to political propaganda or advertisements for AML software. I am unsubscribing and wouldn't not recommend you waste your time here if you wanted to actually learn. Try the CAFP.
Nice and short. Great point on front companies and the half-cut measure of bringing in beneficial ownership legislation. Big love for compliance officers and photocopiers.
Good stuff guys. Thanks for this to start the new year.
Even as an ACAMS member, I am often confused as to the cases they are talking about as there is no background presented to the listener despite the years of investigations that each presented case undergoes. I would appreciate a longer show that delves into the background of the case so that I have context. Otherwise, I’m a third wheel joining a conversation that has been going for years and I have no idea where to pick it up.
