The Podfather should know better. Rich is interesting but isn’t good at this medium. Turns into Max interviewing Rich just to get Rich to talk. Disservice to Max. And it drops too late in the day
I used to like Max when he did radio in LA. He was funny, original. Now he just talks too much. And Rich is an admirable guy. I read his book. Respect. But now he sounds like a whiny, name-dropping insider. I like them both in paper but this pod is just plain irritating to listen to.
Love the insights and hearing the back and forth.
Max to come back n not tighten up his game at all since First Take is disappointing. Rich Paul is a compulsive liar n is a clout demon. Agents dont make statements, they make MOVES.
Glad Max is back. Rich adds a voice and perspective you can’t find in many other places. The show needs Rich. The chemistry is growing. This is not just another pod with 2 guys saying the same tired things.
