Long time fan! As a History teacher I enjoy the daily bites that refresh my memory or allow me to sprinkle in an unknown topic in a lesson. Also highly recommend the historian interviews. Perfect lengths and just what everyone wants to ask the famous historians and writers
Don’t have to be a history buff to enjoy these! Was never a fan of history, but these short episodes hold my attention every morning on the drive to work.
Ideal podcast for causal learning and bite-size history. I find myself learning something new everyday!
Perfect quick daily podcast for a casual history fan! I also really appreciate the Friday conversations with historians. Highly recommend.
As some one with multiple degrees in history, perhaps my standards are too high, but the narrator coninutally mispronounces words. It drives me nuts as I find mysel yelling the correct pronouncation at my playback device multiple times per episode. The scripts also feel AI generated, so I question how much effort is really going into these episodes. So, for myself, I will be looking to scratch my history itch elsewhere.
