  • I don't think so

Sooo, this episode on the Devils Rejects starts with every pod member describing how bad the movie was, taking them days to get though, and they don't even want to talk about it...followed by 10 straight minutes of Sidney literally whining like a child (don't get me wrong, I agree with the sentiments and think this is a terrible movie), but unbearably immature...then ads that break in and out of the cast repeatedly and jarringly, with the same ads playing multiple times (as though a mistake - no... more

  • Still good

The new hosts are good—different but still good! Paying for ad-free would make this a solid four stars. But otherwise, the incredible number, loudness, obnoxiousness, and repetitiveness of the ads is on a whole other level from other ad-supported podcasts I listen to. I do enjoy one episode every month or two, but the over-stuffing with ads keeps me from being a regular. On a more positive note: it’s great that they include movies outside the pop mainstream.

  • Lake Mungo Episode - Cringe and PDF Vibes

I came across this podcast this morning as I saw that they had just released an episode on one of my favorite found footage horror movies Lake Mungo. I pressed Follow so quickly. I’m sad to say 45 minutes in that I unfollowed even quicker. There is one host that spent the episode defending, justifying, and minimizing pdf behaviors. He continues to minimize the behavior and place onus on the child. Also, consistently arguing at a certain age an older man should not be categorized as a pdf or expl... more

  • Was good originally

I found this podcast about a year ago. I started at the beginning and really liked it. I listened to many episodes and enjoyed all of them. The switch happened and i can barely get through an episode without fast forwarding. I really enjoyed the david and bryce back and forth banter. Cant really get into it now. No shade at the newer co-host as they are just ok. All the best to y’all just not for me anymore. I give it a 3 out of 10 now. Enjoy horror movie club pod much more now.
