season one was good, but now I have no idea where this series is going. I feel like we're being milked for ads.
The main lead char in this podcast is so SO unlikeable. I get irritated and want to unfollow the show with every episode, but I’ve committed so much time to the story that I want to know what happened when they were kids. Production and story is interesting, just the lead char is awful. Someone mentioned that she’s like Kristen Stewart x100 and that’s spot on.
At first I didn’t think I’d like this but I gave it a fair chance. Then I started to wonder - is this real, and just presented as a podcast? The more you listen, the more it pulls you in. I’ve listened to hundreds of podcasts, and How It Ends, and We’re Alive are the only shows I stop my other podcasts to listen to when a new episode drops. 10/10
So long and NO pay off. too much filler
Production and overall storyline are good. However, the characters, and especially the main character, are really hard to listen to. Sounds like the actor made a choice to do this improv-ey thing to make it more realistic, adding lots of anxious gibberish and reacting way too strongly to things. Think like…a bad 2010s Kristen Stewart impression x100.
