Every day Robert Evans, Garrison Davis, Mia Wong, and James Stout take you on a jaunty walk through the burning ruins of the old world and towards a better one that lays just on the... more

I find James, Garrison and Robert incredibly compelling on their appraisals of the news and current issues. I appreciate their perspective which leans a bit further to the left than mine and I’ve learned a lot from them. Having said that, for the love of God can someone coach Mia on their laugh and tone switching ? it’s extremely annoying. There’s a lady that sometimes joins the pod and I’m not sure what her contributions to the discussions are.
Brilliant and terrifying. Listener from NZ here. Only note is that ‘Could’ is a little misleading. How hot does the pot have to get before Americans realize the pot turned red hot and fascist long ago? 🐸
ps - laugh on Mia 🫶🏼 it’s a necessary breath of fresh while contemplating the fall of Rome. Get out while you can!
What happened to having talent before given a microphone? This guy sounds like he is about to orgasm on air. I dunnooo why not edit in post and prepare before hand? Are we just unprofessional in our post-literate world? This generation sucks. Bring back Robert Evans.
bring back Dawn of the Frogs!

Great podcast, have been a listener since the beginning, keep breaking my phone and having to resubscribe. However I have come here today to praise the reportage, the variety of topics and also stand on my horrible little step stool and say I find it wildly annoying that one of the hosts keeps calling Zohran Mamdani “Mamdami” and if I don’t write it down somewhere I’ll explode. Great pod keep it up.
