  • Too much rambling

Good information from knowledgeable professionals. The rambling and off topic conversations make it painful to listen to at times

Episode 78, Rental Vans and Bonsai on the Bayou Critiques
Q: What do you think about this tree?
I don't think the right side is too long. I think it needs that to balance out that left branch and the movement of the trunk.
Episode 78, Rental Vans and Bonsai on the Bayou Critiques
Q: What do you see initially with this tree?
I really like the movement of the trunk a lot. That's the thing that really pulled me into this one.
Episode 81, Rob Sheldon of Tree in Clay
Q: Can you tell us about your background in ceramics and how you got into it?
I was introduced to pottery and Bonsai pretty much at the same time by my grandpa, who had books on both subjects that I gravitated towards.
Episode 105, Aarin Packard
Q: Can you share your personal background and journey into bonsai curation?
I grew up in Southern California with gardening parents, but only got into bonsai in my late teens after friends gifted me bonsai trees. I pursued a professional pathway in museum studies and became a curator for bonsai collections.
Episode 102, Red Maples with Jonas
Q: What do you see as the biggest challenge when working with Acer Rubrum?
The biggest challenge is managing suckering growth that can happen if left unchecked, as well as maintaining the desired leaf size.
