Been a long-time Harris fan but am removing this podcast from my library. This is essentially an advert for his paid plan - the free podcasts don’t offer any value on their own - fading out after 20 mins mass them pretty pointless.
SH often presents arguments with confidence and polish, but the ideas themselves feel thin, flattening complex moral, political, and cultural questions into overly tidy conclusions. i don’t think it’s good to co-sign on changing woke to mean something other than what it originally meant. And it’s never been good to adopt ideas that you think are more wise but actually aren’t.
I was initially a bit put off by Sam as many seem to be but that usually means it’s an issue that I’m having versus the person so I kept listening and I’m glad I did.
