I have no idea why Elizabeth Vincentelli even goes to the theater let alone review it. Her criticism betrays her utter lack of rigor, or even knowledge of the history of theater, especially downtown and experimental work. The fact she writes for the Times means her dismissive tone and total lack of understanding of the crisis for theater workers in this town right now, means she is actively hurting people’s careers.
