We’ve all heard the phrase ‘that kind of thing doesn’t happen in our town’, but here on Midwest Murder, we will shatter that false reality. In fact, it happens more often than we know, and sometimes the details of the most horrific crimes that happen in our neighborhoods are lost in the back pages of newspapers, forgotten on our news channels, and eventually erased over time.

As a connoisseur of true crime podcasts, I really recommend Midwest Murder to everyone. Great storytelling, banter and always interesting cases. Well done!
Love this podcast. Love the Midwest flair. Keep it going.
It sounds like they are recording underwater. They are clearly reading from a script, not even well at that, often having to start their sentences over. When they go off script it is awkward, hesitant and doesn’t flow like a normal conversation. Good stories; but not an easy listen.
I have seen two live shows, and have been listening for a little over a year. They do such a good job of sharing the facts of a case and sprinkling in some humor now and then. Easy to listen to & I look forward to new episodes!
