I love film but I am a novice when it comes to film knowledge. These guys have taught me so much and have given me excellent recommendations. I feel like they are the big brothers I never had. I’m glad to see that they’ve been producing this podcast for so many years. I will never stop listening.
I might be a sucker for this one, but I enjoy it a lot. Matt is funny, the show is highly produced, and the movies discussed are interesting.

This podcast strikes a very good balance between "Film" and "movies," if that makes sense.
They are capable of talking about flm and theory, but not too hipstery to have fun at the movies.
They're both pretty funny, they have distinct voices, and they do a good mix of crowd pleasers and deep cuts. There's enough production to not sound like two guys in a car, but not so much that it's busy like morning radio.
A good listen for a long drive.
Enjoyable insights into movies currently and overall as a genre. Commentators are knowledgeable, humorous and provide a good critique.
Overall wrap in this review: I often finish listening to a show wanting to watch a lot of movies, those I haven’t seen and those I want to see again. Good on ya, Nighthawks.
