I love the way they cover each song from all angles. My favorite episode is the one on Mad World. Chris and Matt are the best. What a great camaraderie!
This is a great podcast. It deep dives into these one hit wonders to see how good they truly were. It also goes down many rabbit holes providing discussion on the climate of music and culture at the time of the songs. This provides great insight into why the song was popular in the first place. Chris F. is always funny and is not afraid to tell you how much he hates a song. Chris F. also proves he can talk about anything (for example see The Thong Song). I love this and am glad I discovere... more
The episode on “Insensitive” by Jann Arden had me laughing out loud. I’ve listened to a ton of these now, usually with a goofy nostalgic smile, but the banter and the extra verse they wrote for the song…man. Well done.

Eeek! How can you not have some knowledge in Bowie or Alice Cooper and have a show on music. Yikes.
Hey, what can I say— I’m a fan! Chris is always amped and Matt has that informational background on the songs that helps paint a picture of the time and circumstances that created a (singular) hit song.
