Sometimes this podcast is like therapy for me. Big thanks to old-school wise-ass film nerd Vince Mancini (of The Frotcast) for choosing one of my least favorite films of the last 15 years. And I mean that!

It's not easy being a sci-fi horror film. Even when you pull off something cool, people will always call you an Alien retread. But Pandorum writer/director Christian Alvart is here to set the record straight on all sorts of things, from how the movie... more
One of the movie overhated movies of all time... at first. But history has been kind to this weird little movie. Join me and Dan McCoy (of The Flop House podcast!) as we discuss how much we adore this oddly lovable musical adaptation of an immortal c... more
Yes, it's basically a feature-length Nintendo commercial. That's never been a secret. But perhaps there's some actual artistry and humanity to be found in there too? Well, filmmaker Joe Russo sure seems to think so. (Not the Marvel director Joe Russo... more

So many films I love, and some I didn’t know about. Always informative. Love the guest hosts. Might I suggest Wristcutters a love story? It’s more like under known or discussed!
I really enjoy this show but it’s off putting how often Scott talks over the guest. He asks their opinion then speaks over them constantly. Love hearing everyones views on this show but come on man, wait until your guest stops speaking before jumping in with your own.
Garbled mess. The informational fun is not clear. More patience needed. You murdered the review for the WITHOUT A CLUE 1988 movie. It’s on utube and you provide nearly zero evidence of its many wonderful qualities. How old are you? You don’t value your own audience.
My gawd, Scott Weinberg, are you recording this inside a tin can?!?!
I've gotten through a few sa far and your end of the recording is TERRIBLE!! Come on man!
Do you not listen to these?? In the Manaimal episode you are barley audible but Ken Reid is clear as a bell!
I love this podcast and the host is affable, knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the films. The guest host format is great and they cover lots of different genres and eras.
My only nitpick is the main host interrupts the guests all the time. Please edit it out or give them a chance to finish their sentences.
