  • Brilliant

PTO has become one of my favorite podcasts, truly some of the best political and pop culture commentary out there. Listening from the U.S. I find it offers illuminating perspectives on both American politics and the UK. Alex himself is an extremely sharp guy with a great sense of humor and always asks the right questions. His guests are phenomenal. I always appreciate Seymour’s perspective as well as the cultural studies - ish takes on pop culture. The episode on Oasis was fantastic. Keep up the... more

  • Underrated

This show seems to live in the shadow of The Dig but deserves a bigger listenership. It manages to be just as rigorous without being long-winded – the guests and host make an effort to get to the point, which encourages a nice kind of density. Richard Seymour can go deeper in 10 seconds than other speakers can in 30 minutes.
