  • The podcast is the story

Great stories, tactful and fresh approach to storytelling but half the episodes are ABOUT the making of the show—primarily about the raising of funds. It’s like a meta-podcast. A podcast reflecting the tedium of its production back to the audience.

  • A breath of fresh air

This podcast reminds me of the “golden age” of podcasts of Gimlet and narrative storytelling—when I first fell in love with podcasts. It’s informative, relatable, stays on topic, but also entertaining!

The host is incredible and I really love the sound engineering and music. I just listed to “Zakiya Used to be Fun” and kept finding myself relating so deeply.

Thank you for the wonderful work you are doing!
