For me, this is a perfect books podcast as Philippa is careful to keep discussions spoiler free and not to reveal too much about character either. Somehow, she manages to give a flavour of a read without telling you so much that you go in with expectations about particular aspects of the writing, plot or characters.
I love this show and have recently been bingeing them and adding more and more to my TBR. Keep it up please Philippa.
Philippa's style is relaxed and informal, but she has a professional & objective approach to anyone she interviews- the result is an easy to listen to yet in-depth insight into how each author creates what they create. Highly recommend.
The thing I love most about this show is that it comes out not once a week, but twice! I enjoy Philippa’s brief reviews of new books and her interesting, lively interviews with a variety of authors. Her enthusiasm for books comes across and inevitably has me searching for the titles in the show. Thank you for this podcast, Philippa!
Love this podcast, the love of books shines through in every episode! On my author bucket list of podcasts I would love to appear on - maybe one day…
