Great pod, especially the nations pod. Need to spend less time talking refs though, takes more time than the TMO decisions they’re complaining about!
Love the Nations Pod. No egos, no bias, some irreverence and brilliantly insightful. GRO is awesome. Monday night is too ego led with DC.
During international windows the focus is now heavily on England with the weekend podcast and normally the Tuesday and Thursday (if on) predominantly focused on England, even when the other games are talked about the impact on future games with England is always a major talking point. There are plenty of other podcasts with an England centric approach… but maybe this is what the majority of your audience want, I don’t.
5 pundits experts on English rugby, which is great if your an English rugby fan. Welsh fans still get way more focus from Chris J. Anything to do with Scottish Rugby is dismissed to a nations pod where Tom English to deep dive on anyone else other than Finn Russell - who is finally getting the praise he’s always deserved because he plays for Bath! Would make things way more interesting if there was more balance or interest in all nations. No one should feel dismissed.
Big fan of the pod for many years, but the episode this week was hard work to listen to. Please edit out the tedious repetition of the same old positions around red card laws, and minimize the endless speculation about player and team awards. Good to hear a pov but we don’t need to hear it three times by each person. Aside from that, keep up the good work!
