因為小孩總是無辜的,所以說出自己後悔當生養小孩,會立刻讓人聯想到不負責任的壞媽媽。
也就是「後悔」這兩個字,使女人覺得自己真實的感受,卻顯得大逆不道。
以色列的社會學家Orna Donath 在書中,更清楚呈現 「媽媽的後悔」與「小孩的存在」是兩個平行的觀念。而社會上,來自不經思考的集體觀念,也有過多無意義的成見與壓力,使媽媽們難以自在呼吸。

最近讀完了這本書,自我同理,對自己好的力量 (Self-Compassion-The proven power of being kind to yourself)
同理心是人類生來,就有建立部落的欲望,而受苦受難時,也希望有族人的支持,因為這是人類生存本能的一部份,受苦,有壓力時,只要能得到他人的同理與支持,很多時候,就會立即啟動人大腦的抒壓機制。

從沒想過這輩子我會不喝咖啡,直到我真的戒了咖啡之後,才發現好處。二年前,我因為失眠太嚴重,什麼方法都試過了沒效,最後決定戒喝咖啡。
結果經過一週時間,身體適應了沒有咖啡因,之後我發現不喝咖啡,並不會讓我精神變差,而且我擺脫對物質的依賴,我睡得比較好,省錢又省時,而且咖啡並沒有很好喝。

人際關係,其實是我們身邊最大的壓力來源,但是多數人都不會承認這個事實。
原因是,如果,你是一個「人際關係」不好的人,在某種程度上,也暗示著你是個不受歡迎或者是「有問題的人」。所以我們多半會選擇默默承受人際關係帶來的壓力,最簡單的方式,就把自己變成濫好人,不要與週圍的人起衝突,表面上,不要拒絕別人的要求,不要說出自己真正的想法,那表面上,我看起來,人際關係也就還不錯。
