  • Often really interesting, but please improve audio quality

I really like the content, details and information about current missions and discoveries.

Unfortunately, it’s more often than not really difficult to listen to and follow due to low recording quality. I understand that not all guests have good equipment, but the hosts could maybe invest a little to improve quality. For starters, that‘s possible for well below 100 bucks. ;-)

SETI@home Update: 21 Years of Citizen Science—and 100 Signals to Investigate
Q: What was the reason for SETI at Home ending in 2020?
The project ended due to diminishing returns as they had already observed the whole sky visible from the Arecibo Telescope, and they were running out of funding.
3I/ATLAS: Caught in UV | What Europa Clipper Saw When No One Else Could
Q: What does the data collected by Europa Clipper reveal?
The data shows that Comet 3I Atlas is made of water ice, confirming that comets from outside our solar system share similar compositions with those in our solar system.
3I/ATLAS: Caught in UV | What Europa Clipper Saw When No One Else Could
Q: What makes 3I Atlas an interstellar comet? Why do we call it that?
Comet 3I Atlas was discovered on a hyperbolic trajectory, meaning it is not gravitationally bound to our solar system and likely originated from a distant solar system.
Earth 2.0? Maybe Not. Intelligent Life Might Be Far Rarer Than We Think
Q: Is the moon essential for a planet's stability?
A moon is nice to have and can stabilize a planet's climate, but it's not essential according to various studies.
