For anyone who is interested in politics (and everyone really should be!) and particularly post war politics, then this superb podcast is for you. Presented by two intelligent , articulate and extremely knowledgeable hosts who provide informative but balanced discussion on post World War 2 British politics in depth. I am so glad I found this podcast and constantly recommend it to friends and colleagues.
This is exactly what a serious history-of-politics podcast should sound like. The hosts are deeply erudite yet consistently accessible, explaining post-1945 British politics with a clear sense of what listeners actually need to know, and why it still matters. Historical episodes are never treated as museum pieces; they’re presented as the foundations of today’s political landscape.

Brilliant in form and substance. Two learned and articulate people, perfectly matched, in thoughtful, high-quality conversation. No extraneous banter etc. Deeply informative and a real pleasure to listen to. BBC today could learn a lot from how this is done.
Since Attlee & Churchill has become my favourite podcast. I have had an interest in British politics for nearly 50 years & studied political history so much of the content is familiar. But there are always things I didn’t know and takes that make me rethink familiar episodes in our history. It also provides some escape from today’s rather dismal cast of politicians - whilst reminding us that everyone is flawed.
