One of my favourite Roger movies, and very well handled with enough respect and humour by the two Johns.

  • The Usual Modern Bias

I realize it’s cool and popular these days to disrespect Connery but can you at least get some guests on that appreciate him? Still the only actor to accurately portray all aspects of the character on screen. Bond isn’t supposed to be PC or a hero, he’s complex.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

RE-ANIMATOR with Dr. Dean Burnett and Dan Thomas
Q: Would a severed head enjoy sitting in a big tray of blood gravy?
A liter of oxygenated blood typically lasts between 20 and 60 seconds in the human body, so let's split the difference and say the head and brain requires 10% of the energy of the full working human body, the liter of blood can run for 10 minutes, which seems sustainable.
RE-ANIMATOR with Dr. Dean Burnett and Dan Thomas
Q: Dean, is this possible?
For what I can see in this, no. It's basically got a blackened decker which glows.
HELLBOY II: THE GOLDEN ARMY with Ryland Tews
Q: What are the specific things you don't like about the movie?
It looks beautiful, but I always leave underwhelmed. Some amazing ideas but the last act falls flat.
CASINO ROYALE with Dan Thomas
Q: Which Bond actor do you think would make the funniest noise every time he saw a naked lady?
Roger Moore would likely let out a ghostly 'Ooh' akin to a cheeky comedic scare.
CASINO ROYALE with Dan Thomas
Q: If you could swap any two Bond-themed song singers, which two would you choose?
I'd love to hear Duran Duran's voice on GoldenEye or a different artist on A View to a Kill.
