  • Exceptional academic podcast

There used to be more shows like this around. Deep and thoughtful dives into a very specific topic with academic rigor instead of just too dummies talking about their interests. Love the show

  • Love it

Here you have two podcasts in one. In the first part, you'll hear Sean and Rusana rant and waffle about the good old days, and you'll wish they'd just keep going - there's great energy between them. In the second part, you'll hear interviews with smart people covering a wide variety of topics, always interesting. The hosts are great interviewers with non-banal questions, and you can clearly tell that they talk about topics that are genuinely interesting to them. Highly recommend.

What a unique and interesting podcast. I have been following the show since it had its own name. As a person with an MA specializing in Soviet/Eastern Europe Politics, it has helped to refresh my knowledge base while exposing me to even more I have never been exposed to. Thank you and keep up the good work!
